  目:High-order well-balanced and asymptotic-preserving numerical schemes for the nonlinear shallow water equations

内容簡介:Nonlinear shallow water equations are widely used in modeling free-surface flows in rivers and coastal areas. In this talk, we first consider the nonlinear shallow water equations over non-flat bottom and present explicit well-balanced (central) DG schemes for the equations. Then we investigate the nonlinear shallow water equations in low Froude numberε. Since the explicit schemes require that the time step must satisfy dt=O(εdx), this leads to an increasingly large computational cost as the Froude number becomes smaller. To avoid this issue, we present an asymptotic preservingIMEX RKDG method for solving the equations.The presented scheme is also an implicit well-balanced scheme for the equations. Finally, several numerical tests are carried out to validate the performance of our proposed schemes.

報告人簡介:電子科技大學教授,博士生導師。2012年在重慶大學獲理學博士學位。20118月到20128月在美國倫斯勒理工學院訪問,20132月到20148月在北京計算科學研究中心做博士後研究,20149月到20188月在重慶大學工作并于20179月晉升副教授,20189月至今在電子科技大學工作,并于20235月晉升為教授。目前主要從事淺水波問題、兩相流問題等流體力學問題的高精度數值方法研究。主持國家自然科學基金青年項目1項,面上項目2項,參與國家自然科學基金重點項目2項。迄今為止在JCPJSCSISCCICPJCAMANMCMA等期刊上發表學術論文30餘篇。
