題  目：Lectures on gauge theory and applications

内容簡介：Applications of gauge theory have been played important roles in the study of low dimensional geometry and topology. In this short course, basics of gauge theory will be explained. Some applications to 2-4 dimensional topology will be discussed. Topics include: bundles, connections and curvature, Chern-Weil theory, 4d Yang-Mills theory , 3d Chern-Simons theory, Atiyah-Floer conjecture.

報告人簡介：Bai-Ling Wang 教授現任職于澳大利亞國立大學數學研究所，長期從事規範場、K理論、辛幾何及數學物理的研究，是該領域國際著名的學者。他研究的課題涉及：（1）奇異空間的微分幾何與拓撲，包括局部指标理論和高階指标理論，量子 K-理論等；（2）數學物理中拓撲和微分量子場論、開弦的 D-膜理論等。他曾在《Advances in Mathematics》、《Transactions of the AMS》、《Communications in Mathematical Physics》、《Journal of Differential Geometry》等一流數學期刊上發表論文多篇。他曾連續多年在澳國立大學講授辛幾何、Yang-Mills規範理論等高等研究課程，深受學生歡迎。
