題  目：Mobile App Rating Manipulation: Characteristics and Detection

内容簡介：Driven by monetary reward, some mobile app developers turn to the underground market to buy positive reviews instead of doing legal advertisements. These promotion reviews are either directly posted in app stores like iTunes and Google Play, or published on some popular websites with many app users. In this talk, I will first introduce our research on unveiling this underground market and statistically analyzing the promotion incentives, characteristics of promoted apps and suspicious reviewers. Then we propose robust and effective mechanisms to identify both promoted apps and the groups of hired promoters. Finally, some future research directions will be discussed.

報告人：美國賓州州立大學計算機科學與工程系  朱森存  副教授

報告人簡介：朱森存博士系The Pennsylvania State University（PSU）計算機科學與工程系副教授。從事計算機網絡與系統安全領域的研究工作，特别是早期在傳感器網絡安全領域做了很多的工作。迄今已在國際學術刊物和學術會議上發表論文100多篇，論文被國際同行引用7000多次。曾獲美國國家科學基金會的CAREER Award, Google Faculty Research Award。擔任過包括IEEE Securty&Privacy, ACM CCS, ACM WiSec, ICDCS, INFOCOM, NDSS等國際知名會議的程序委員會委員。目前的主要研究方向是無線網絡安全、軟件安全與保護、智能手機安全和隐私等。
